Interfaith Food Bank
Since 1998 the Interfaith Food Bank of Amador County, California, has offered food to local families in need. 12181 Airport Road, Jackson. Open Monday 12-4 pm, Tuesday 11-3 pm. Wednesday 11-3 pm, and Thursday 2-6 pm. The Food Bank is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Call 209-267-9006 or visit the Interfaith Food Bank website.
Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
WIC provides supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women. Also to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk. Meets in Luther Hall 9 am - 4 pm on the first Wednesday of odd-numbered months. Amador Stars - Help For Cancer Patients
Amador Stars offers free help to cancer patients from a local nonprofit in Sutter Creek, including a support group, wigs, transportation to treatment. Call 209-267-1246 for more information or visit the Amador Stars website.
Emergency Food Pantry, Coats & Blankets at Faith Lutheran Church
Available to families and individuals in need every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 am - 12 noon (food only) and Thursdays 9:30 am - 12 noon (clothing & blankets) at Faith Lutheran Church. Send us a message or call the church office at 209-295-4545 for more information.

Project Thanks 2023
This year we will be providing Thanksgiving boxes to 25 families on November 18, 2023. Your donations to this project will be greatly appreciated. We will be making an effort to provide as much fresh food as possible, and will need donations of all sizes, including:
- Frozen turkeys
- Canned cranberries
- Stuffing mix or croutons
- Chicken or Turkey broth
- Donations of money to help us purchase what is not donated

Support the Faith Lutheran Church Emergency Food Pantry
Support the needy in our area by helping to stock the collection basket in the Narthex (lobby). We always need:
- instant drinks, such as hot chocolate
- shelf stable milk or juice
- tea or coffee
- jellies and jams
- canned or powdered soups
- crackers
- hot breakfast cereal
- quick fix mac & cheese or soup cups
- fruit cups
- cans of ham, tuna or chicken
Fill Up Faith Lutheran's Baby Basics Box
Donate new infant clothing, disposable diapers and baby wipes to the Baby Basics Box, placed by "First 5 of Amador," in the Faith Lutheran Narthex (lobby). This is a joint project by many Amador County Churches.
Donate a Book to the Little Free Library
Please take or leave a book in the Little Free Library located in the church parking lot near the amphitheater. New books arrive weekly!
PROJECT HIGHLIGHT: Drinking Water for Papua New Guinea
Faith Lutheran initiated and assisted in developing a gravity feed drinking water system for several villages in Papua New Guinea. The work was completed and not only did the project provide water, but it united the villages and prompted them to work together on other cooperative projects.
